The political discord in the tribe has led to members losing benefits, jobs and committee positions connected to tribal businesses, she said.

Griffith said she has been working with Laura Wass, a Fresno-based representative of the American Indian Movement, who has advocated a takeover of tribal buildings for the past month so the tribe can make a statement opposing disenrollment.

Reached Monday evening, Troy Burdick, the BIA's Central California Agency superintendent in Sacramento, said, "I'm sure there is something we can do to resolve this. We are going to try to do what we can. I don't want to say anything to make it any worse."

Now her family is using fliers and Facebook to try to bring her home.

When the girl's mother came to pick her up from his home, she learned Anderson no longer lived there.
Police said the house was foreclosed on, and Anderson recently lost his job.

CALIFORNIA CHUKCHANSI INDIANS (FIGHT OVER MEMBERSHIP) CS GRENADES USED to GET THEM OUT OF TRAILER

5:33 a.m.: The standoff between factions at the Picayune Rancheria of Chukchansi Indians escalated late Monday night when power and water was cut off to the occupied tribal office and the building was hit with pepper spray.
The actions, reported to Madera County law enforcement authorities about 10 p.m. were an apparent retaliation to the takeover of the office Monday morning, when members of a rival leadership group cut locks and entered the building.

Windows were shattered to air out the building from the pepper spray, said Erica Stuart of the Madera County Sheriff's Department, which is monitoring the situation. Two women reportedly suffered minor cuts from broken glass but didn't go to a hospital, she said.

A smoldering log from a burn pile outside the building was thrown into the building and was then thrown back outside, but Stuart said there was no resulting fire.
No arrests were made in connection with Monday night's events and the Sheriff's Department has no suspects, Stuart said.

Afghans COMMIT MURDER (OVER BURNING OF Korans)

KABUL, Afghanistan — Armed with rocks, bricks, pistols and wooden sticks, protesters angry over the burning of Korans at the largest American base in Afghanistan this week took to the streets in demonstrations in a half-dozen provinces on Wednesday that left at least seven dead and many more injured.

The fury does not appear likely to abate soon. Members of Parliament called on Afghans to take up arms against the American military, and Western officials said they feared that conservative mullahs might incite more violence at the weekly Friday Prayer, when a large number of people worship at mosques.

The US rushed to condemn the Koran burning, with US President Barack Obama apologising to the Afghan people for what he said was a mistake and pledging that the perpetrators would be punished.
But furious Afghans took to the streets across the country and tried to attack French, Norwegian, UN and US bases, shouting "Death to America".
Among the dead were two US troops killed when an Afghan soldier turned his weapon on them as protesters approached their base in eastern Afghanistan

NAKED MAN STEALS ( FIRE TRUCK) Then RUNS OVER (AND KILLS MAN)

PORT ROYAL, S.C. (AP) — Authorities say a man who was naked stole a fire truck at an apartment complex in South Carolina and sped away, killing a pedestrian who was walking on a sidewalk.
Police say the driver was pulled from the fire truck after it crashed into trees and he began fighting with police and paramedics. A Beaufort police supervisor was not immediately available Saturday to confirm the driver's identity.

The man jumped behind the wheel of the fire truck after firefighters with the Beaufort-Port Royal Fire Department responded to an apartment complex.
The Beaufort County coroner's office says 28-year-old Justin Miller of Port Royal was killed by the careening fire truck. The fire truck also hit several cars.

LONDON - Hackers claiming allegiance to the loose-knit Anonymous movement have claimed responsibility for vandalizing an Ohio FBI partner website, replacing its homepage with the video for rap hit "Gangsta's Paradise."

YOU HACKERS ARE GONNA GET BUSTED ......
The hackers said Friday that they were responsible for defacing the website of the Dayton, Ohio-based chapter of Infragard, a public-private partnership for critical infrastructure protection sponsored by the FBI.
The Ohio site was replaced with the video for Coolio's 1995 rap hit and a profane message attacking Infragard as a "sinister alliance" between corporations and law enforcement.
Anonymous has promised weekly hacks as the amorphous group continues its campaign against law enforcement worldwide.
The FBI did not immediately return a call seeking comment.

EDIT ***** Infragard is a watchdog GROUP not the FBI.

UTAH Mountain man (ARMED AND DANGEROUS) Who is he?

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — He's eluded authorities for more than five years, a mountain man who roams the wilderness of southern Utah, breaking into remote cabins in winter, living in luxury off hot food, alcohol and coffee before stealing provisions and vanishing into the woods.
Investigators have clawed for clues, scouring cabins for fingerprints that match no one and chasing reports of brief encounters only to come up short, always a step behind the mysterious recluse.
They've found abandoned camps, dozens of guns, high-end outdoor gear stolen from the homes and trash strewn around the forest floor.

But the man authorities say is armed and dangerous and responsible for more than two dozen burglaries has continued to outrun the law across a swath of mountains not far from Zion National Park. He's roamed across 1,000 square miles of rugged wilderness where snow can pile 10 feet deep in winter.
And while there have been no violent confrontations, detectives say he's a time bomb. Lately he has been leaving the cabins in disarray and riddled with bullets after defacing religious icons, and a recent note left behind in one cabin warned, "Get off my mountain."
"You wouldn't want to come across that guy," said Iron County Det. Jody Edwards, who has been working the case since 2007.
Theories about his identity have ranged from a 42-year-old man on the FBI's Most Wanted List sought for the 2004 killing of an armored-truck guard in Phoenix to a castaway from the nearby compounds of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the polygamous sect run by jailed leader Warren Jeffs.

kinda looks like robert fisher FBI top 10 (Killed wife and kids)
The FBI recently discounted the theory that the man was their fugitive after authorities got the first pictures of him from a motion-triggered surveillance camera outside a cabin showing a sandy-haired man in camouflage on snowshoes, a rifle slung over his shoulder. The photos were captured sometime in December.
"We believe that is not Jason Derek Brown," FBI special agent Manuel Johnson told The Associated Press.

JUAREZ (GLADIATOR SCHOOL) TRAINS CADETS TO BE GUN FIGHTERS

Ciudad Juarez, Mexico -- Four city police officers in Juarez are under investigation for a shooting that wounded a 9 year old boy. Josue Tapia was riding in the back seat of his mother's Ford Escape with Texas plates when the officers allegedly opened fire on the two U.S. citizens.
The boy's mother, Sonia Tapia Cisneros. 35, says the shooting happened moments after officers approached her vehicle and yelled at her. She says she thought  they were warning her to leave a dangerous situation so she drove away quickly.

THEY HAVE HAD 8 COPS KILLED LAST MONTH ALONE !
That's when she says she said the bullets started flying. Tapia thought they were caught in crossfire in a gunfight between police and criminals. She realized they were targets when she  heard her son say, "Mom they hit me."
After he was rushed to the hospital Monday night, police took Tapia into custody. She spent the next two days behind bars instead of at her son's hospital bed.  She faced attempted murder charges when the police officers said armed men were riding in the vehicle with the mother and child.
Tapia and her son are both U.S. citizens. They live in Juarez where she helped start a Christian school.

Juarez police are on edge after a wave of cop killings. In January gun men killed 8 officers. Two more were injured in the most recent attack on Thursday morning.
Last week the police chief ordered his entire force to stay in heavily guarded hotels between shifts.

IRAN TURNS TABLE (BLOWS UP ISRAELI MINISTRY REP ) ? CAR BOMB

Has Iran decided to turn Israeli tactics against Israel?
In a strike virtually identical to attacks on Iranian nuclear scientists, U.S. sources say a passing motorcyclist attached what appeared to be a shaped charge to an Israeli diplomatic vehicle in New Delhi, India. The driver and the wife of Israel's deputy defense ministry representative to India were wounded.
Television footage showed flames pouring from a minivan with its back door blown out. The attack took place at 4 p.m. on Race Track Road, close to the Israeli Embassy.

A single source confirms that a failed attack against an Israeli car in Tblisi, Georgia used a similar method, but the bomb did not detonate. A worker at the embassy alerted local police after seeing a black plastic bag attached to the bottom of the Israeli envoy's car. The bag held a hand grenade.
No attackers have been identified in either incident. An unconfirmed report says that a third Israeli facility in Amsterdam may also have been targeted.

ROBERT FISHER (KILLER) WORSE THEN JOSH POWELL (ON THE RUN SINCE 2001)

On the morning of April 10, 2001, police and fire units responded to reports of an explosion at the Fisher residence in Scottsdale, Ariz. The fire burned for hours and when it was finally  extinguished, officials made a gruesome discovery inside the rubble -- the bodies of 38-year-old Mary Fisher, 12-year-old Britteny and ten-year-old Bobby Jr.

STONE COLD KILLER
To make matters worse, authorities quickly determined that the mother and children did not die in the fire, they had been murdered in their beds the night before.  Mary was shot in the back of the head and her throat had been sliced.  The children's necks were also slashed.  Arson investigators said that the house was rigged to blow because a lit candle was left in the home and the gas furnace had been disconnected.
Most shocking of all, the main suspect was none other than head of the Fisher family, Robert Fisher.  Cops believe that when Mary Fisher confronted her husband about a ending their marriage, Fisher decided to avoid a messy divorce and simply wiped the slate clean by killing his family.
Police tell AMW that Fisher fled soon after the murders, taking his wife's SUV and the family dog, a Queensland Heeler named "Blue."

IRAN CUTS OFF (INTERNET ACCESS) anti -government PROTEST planned 2-11

IRAN has cut off access to the Internet, leaving millions of people without access to e-mail and social networks.

An individual inside the country confirmed this morning that Gmail, Hotmail, and Yahoo email are no longer available. Ditto for Facebook. So far, the government has not made any announcement about the service interruption.
But cyber-sophisticated Iranians are still able to circumvent the government by using proxy servers over VPN connections.

"The interesting thing is that when asked, they deny the fact that all these services are all blocked," an Iranian contacted by CNET said. This individual asked to remain unidentified.
However, the Iranian noted that the regime has cut off the Internet during protests and that the buzz on the streets is that anti-government protests are planned for Saturday. February 11 marks the anniversary of Iran's 1979 Islamic revolution

31 YEAR OLD MICHEAL CRANE ARRESTED (FOR MURDER AND KILLING ARIZONA COUPLE)

PARADISE VALLEY, Ariz. (AP) - A 31-year-old man has been arrested and faces murder charges in the death of an Arizona couple found tied up and burned beyond recognition, and four others have also been arrested in the case, police said Tuesday.
The bodies of Lawrence and Glenna Shapiro, well-to-do philanthropists in their 70s, were discovered on Jan. 30 in their stylish home in the affluent Phoenix suburb of Paradise Valley.
Until Tuesday, Paradise Valley police had released few details about the bizarre crime, including whether the Shapiros were robbed or what they think the motive might have been.
Police said Michael Crane would face two murder charges, as well as kidnapping, armed robbery, arson and burglary charges. The other four suspects were facing theft or trafficking in stolen property charges.
The murders were the first in Paradise Valley since 2004 and shook neighbors, police and the town mayor. Police Chief John Bennett said Tuesday that there was no evidence to indicate the Shapiros were specifically targeted.

Earlier Tuesday, family and friends gathered in a packed downtown Phoenix theater for a memorial service for the couple.
