Crazy Dude
Thomas Prusik-Parkin is accused of collecting more than $115,000 on his mother Irene Prusik's government benefits and rent subsidies for six years following her death in 2003.

MAD COW (Disease) CASE FOUND in CENTRAL California
The United States Department of Agriculture confirmed Tuesday that it found a case of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) in a dairy cow from central California.
This is the nation's fourth confirmed case of the ailment commonly known as mad cow disease.
John Clifford, the USDA's chief veterinary officer, said the animal was never presented for slaughter for human consumption, so it at no time presented a risk to the food supply or human health. Additionally, milk does not transmit BSE.
The USDA has begun contacting world agencies and trading partners but does not expect the finding to affect beef exports.

MEXICO (Fishermen pull up 20 FT LONG) WHITE Shark IN NET
Two commercial fishermen in Mexico received the surprise of a lifetime Sunday when they hauled up a great white shark measuring nearly 20 feet and weighing about 2,000 pounds, according to local news reports. The rare catch of such a large white shark -- at 20 feet it'd be among the longest ever recorded -- was made in Mexico's Sea of Cortez near Guaymas, by fishermen who thought they had merely scored a large haul of much smaller fish as they hoisted up their net.
"We were amazed and immediately realized that we had a huge, dead, great white shark, and then we thought what are we going to do?," Guadalupe, one of the fishermen, said in an interview with Pisces Sportfishing, which is located in the Baja California resort city of Cabo San Lucas. The other fisherman was named Baltazar.

MAN who ADOPTED GIRLFRIEND ORDERED to PAY (46 MILLION) Law Suit
John Goodman (not the actor) has been ordered to pay $46 million to the parents of a 23-year-old man, Scott Wilson, whom Goodman killed while driving under the influence.
The case made headlines because Goodman, the founder of the International Polo Club Palm Beach, attempted to avoid paying the settlement by legally adopting his 42-year-old girlfriend, Heather Hutchins, as his daughter. Prosecuting lawyers argued that Goodman, the heir of an air conditioning fortune, was attempting to shield his substantial assets. The adoption entitled Hutchins to a third of his children's $300 million trust. Lawyers for Goodman's two biological children filed a lawsuit in response to their father's actions.
