CLEVELAND ( Woman ordered to wear ' IDIOT SIGN ' by Judge ) Shena Hardin
A woman who was caught on video driving along a sidewalk to avoid a stopped school bus has been ordered to wear an "idiot" sign at the intersection where it happened.

Shena Hardin, 32, of Cleveland pleaded guilty to not stopping for a school bus and reckless operation. A Cleveland Municipal Court judge ordered her driver's license suspended for 30 days and ordered her to pay $250 in court costs, according to WJW Fox 8.
As part of the sentence, Hardin must also must wear a sign that reads, "Only an idiot would drive on the sidewalk to avoid the school bus" for an hour a day for two days next week at the intersection where the incident occurred, according to Fox 8.
Hardin was arrested on Sept. 11 after a veteran school bus driver, Uriah Herron, noticed Hardin pull her driving stunt several times and recorded one incident with his cellphone camera.
"We had a very conscientious driver for 30 years. He really cares about his children and he took the extra step that this doesn't happen again," Cleveland Metropolitan School District bus manager Eric Taylor told newsnet5.com.
The judge's unique sentence predictably has drawn hundreds of comments on social media. Many agree with the sentence, saying more judges should strive for nontraditional penalties. Others, however, argue that the punishment is too degrading and humiliating for a motor vehicle violation.
SALT Lake City ( 9 yr old Girl rushes for 8.2 yards per carry ) Football superstar Sam Gordon
It started as a way for an 8-year-old girl to keep up with her big brother.
Sam Gordon just wanted to run with the older kids. The coaches in the local tackle football league figured, hey, why not? Maybe they could turn it into a drill: Who can outrun Max's little sister?
They were shocked to find the answer: no one.
Sam Gordon, now 9, became one of the fastest kids this Salt Lake City area "Gremlins" league had ever seen. They put her in drills and she outran boys two years older. They allowed her into the "Sharks and Minnows" game and stared in awe at not only at her speed, but her ability to move like a tailback.
"She could cut and follow blocks like a college football player," says her coach, Chris Staib

Carmen Basilio in the arms of his trainer Angelo Dundee, left, and co-manager John DeJohn after winning the middleweight title from Sugar Ray Robinson in 1957.
Carmen Basilio, the welterweight and middleweight boxing champion of the 1950s who fought two brutal bouts with Sugar Ray Robinson, winning his middleweight title and then losing it to him, died Wednesday in Rochester. Basilio, who lived in Irondequoit, a suburb of Rochester, was 85.
His death was announced by the International Boxing Hall of Fame in Canastota, N.Y., where Basilio was born. He was among its first class of inductees in 1990.
They called him the Upstate Onion Farmer — his Italian immigrant father worked the onion fields near Syracuse — but from the time he was a youngster, Basilio wanted nothing more than to be a pro boxer. He became a champion with an unrelenting style of attack, willing to take punishment as well as dish it out.
Los Angeles (17 yr old boys arrested for the rape of boys on soccer team ) Hazing
Three teenagers arrested in connection with alleged sexual hazing of younger
members of the La Puente High School soccer team have been charged with various
sexual assault and battery charges, prosecutors said Tuesday.
The boys were charged in Juvenile Court. Their next court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 19.
Two of the boys, both 17, were charged with 10 counts each: one felony count of sexual penetration with a foreign object, one felony count of assault with a deadly weapon, four misdemeanor counts of sexual battery and four misdemeanor counts of hazing. A 16-year-old boy was charged with six counts: felony sexual penetration with a foreign object, felony assault with a deadly weapon, and two misdemeanor counts each of hazing and sexual battery.
Prosecutors allege that the boys sodomized one victim with a pole-like object; three other victims were sexually battered.
Four victims who reported the assault told authorities that the ritual was known as the "pole tradition" and that they were terrified to walk into the school equipment room.
Authorities said they were looking into the coach's involvement but have found no evidence that he participated in the alleged assaults.
Brian Claypool, an attorney for the four victims, said the boys were initially reluctant to come forward.
"These boys were ashamed and embarrassed," he said.
According to parents' legal claims against the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District, the hazing has gone on for years.
One 17-year-old boy was "brutally assaulted" in May after he entered the storage room to return some equipment, the claim alleges. He was attacked by varsity team members who carried a long pole with a sharp end while other players recorded the attack with their cellphones.
A 14-year-old boy described a similar account of the "pole tradition" and told authorities he was jumped by teammates when he entered the equipment room.
A second 14-year-old said he was assaulted through his clothing in an attack that left his underwear and jeans bloody, the claim alleges.
One 15-year-old was also attacked, but the claim said he fought back so hard during the six-minute assault that the assailants finally gave up.
Hacienda La Puente Unified School District Supt. Barbara Nakaoka said she could not comment on the investigation.
The names of the three boys were not released
because they are minors. They were arrested last month after an investigation by
the Los
Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Special Victims Unit.
