New Delhi: An 18-year-old girl was kept confined at an unidentified place here by her former landlord’s son who raped her repeatedly for 12 days, said police on Thursday. Her attacker has been arrested and hunt is now on for a woman who played a key role in the crime, police said.
On the complaint of the victim’s family, her alleged attacker Naushaad was arrested on Wednesday from east Delhi’s Shakarpur area.

“On January 23, the girl, who resides in Shakarpur, had gone to purchase medicines from nearby area where the accused met her and took her in his car at a secluded place,” said a police officer.
“The victim met an unknown woman at the place. The woman offered her a cold drink laced with sedatives. When the victim regained consciousness, she found herself raped. Since then, she was confined to the room and raped repeatedly for 12 days,” said the officer citing the victim’s complaint.
The accused left the girl in Shakarpur Sunday and threatened her with dire consequences if she told her family members or police about the incident.
After reaching the home, the victim told her family members who approached police.
After arresting Naushad, police are trying to find out the hideout of the woman who had helped the youth in the crime.

PENN YAN, N.Y.—Police say an upstate New York woman passed drugs to her son while kissing him when she visited him in jail. Sheriff's deputies in Yates County tell local media outlets 54-year-old Penn Yan resident Kimberly Margeson was visiting her son last week when she hid oxycodone pills and passed them from her mouth to his while giving him a kiss. Police haven't said how the drugs were discovered. Margeson pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges of criminal sale of a controlled substance and promoting prison contraband. She's free after posting bail. Authorities say her 30-year-old son also was charged with promoting prison contraband. He remains in jail on an unrelated felony weapon possession charge, and a lawyer for him couldn't be contacted

LOS ANGELES (AP) - The manhunt for a disgruntled former Los Angeles police officer wanted in three killings is expanding.
A U.S. Marshals Service official says the search for Christopher Dorner has spread from California to Nevada, Arizona and Mexico.
The official spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Thursday because the official was not authorized to comment publicly on the investigation.
Dorner is suspected of killing a former police captain's daughter, her fiance and a Riverside officer. He's also suspected of wounding two other officers

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Authorities in California launched a statewide manhunt on Thursday for a former Los Angeles police officer who threatened "warfare" on cops and was suspected in a shooting spree that has killed three and wounded two others.

Former officer Christopher Dorner, 33, was suspected in the shooting of three police officers, one of them fatally, early Thursday, police said.

On Wednesday, police named Dorner as a suspect in the shooting deaths of the daughter of a former L.A. police captain and her fiance, whose bodies were found on Sunday.

"The violence of action will be high. ... I will bring unconventional and asymmetrical warfare to those in LAPD uniform whether on or off duty," Dorner wrote on Facebook, KTLA television reported. Dorner's page appeared to have been removed from the social network site on Thursday.

The California Highway Patrol issued a "blue alert" on Dorner to law enforcement throughout the state after the shootings early Thursday in the Riverside area about 60 miles east of Los Angeles.

"The suspect is considered armed and extremely dangerous," the alert said. "The suspect was involved in multiple shootings with multiple agencies in the Riverside CHP area."

One Los Angeles police officer was grazed on Thursday near Corona in Riverside County, Los Angeles police said. Later, two Riverside Police Department officers were shot in Riverside, and one of them died, Riverside police said.

Irvine police on Wednesday night named Dorner as the suspect in the shooting deaths of the recently engaged Keith Lawrence and Monica Quan, an assistant basketball coach at California State University Fullerton.

The popular heart-throb was said to be “made of pure muscle” and the posters showed off his Mediterranean looks and toned physique.

As the lights went down, more than 150 women whispered to each other and giggled as the anticipation mounted.

However, when the booked entertainment finally strolled out onto the stage a deathly silence fell over the room and the women gazed at each other in horror.

Dark-haired Fabio had been forced to pull out at the last minute and he had been replaced by "scruffy" novice Leon Zbudowskyj, wearing grey tracksuit trousers and braces.

"He looked like he had come off the street, he looked dirty, he was unshaven and he didn't have a six pack,” said Debra Jones, the compare.
"He was diabolical, he was disgusting, he just didn't have anything, no music, no dance routine.

"In fact he looked like he had been hit in the face with a wok.

"He just wasn't the sort of person you wanted to see take their kit off.”

Rather than begin a routine, 29-year-old Zbudowskyj simply stood rooted to the spot.

The women, who had paid £10-a-head for the popular event, simply looked at each other and wondered what was going on.

Eventually, they lost patience and started heckling, chanting at him to “get on with it” whilst pelting him with screwed up serviettes.

“He looked like a crazed animal,” said one attendee who did not want to be identified.

“He just stood there, staring at everyone with a vacant look. It was immediately obvious he was no stripper.”

But the night took a distinct turn for the worse, culminating in a large brawl.

Five police cars were sent to break up the scuffle at the Baltic Inn in Pontyates, near Llanelli, South Wales and Cardiff-based Zbudowskyj arrested on suspicion of assault.

Viv Davies, 58, who has owned the country inn for seven years, said the stand-in stripper was unlikely to get further bookings.
