UP woman killed in brawl over her daughter wearing jeans

Aligarh: A woman from Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh has died of severe head injuries that she suffered during a scuffle with her neighbours over her daughter's clothes, the police have said. The incident reportedly happened in the Delhi Gate area of the city on Tuesday night.

The woman, 55-year-old Kamlesh Choudhary, was reportedly unhappy with the remarks her neighbour Phoolvati had made about her teenage daughter Gunjan's western attire - jeans and T-shirt.

Angered by her daughter's public humiliation, she landed at Phoolvati's house with her family members on Tuesday night and rebuked her.

Minutes later Phoolvati reached Kamlesh's house accompanied by her relatives. As the altercation that followed heated up, one of Phoolvati's relatives allegedly pushed Kamlesh. She fell on to the ground and died on the spot.

Phoolvati and three other members of her family have been arrested by the police.

SAN JUAN ( Puerto Rican Toddler 2 yrs old Found Wandering Alone on the street )

SAN JUAN – A 2-year-old boy was found before dawn Tuesday wandering alone near a gas station in the San Juan suburb of Bayamon, the Puerto Rico Police Department said.

The child apparently used the remote control for the garage-door opener to leave his home without his parents’ knowledge.

An area resident who was on the street awaiting a ride to work spotted the youngster at around 4:30 a.m. and called police, who picked up the boy and took him to Puerto Rico Children’s Hospital in San Juan.

Police eventually located the parents and told them their child was at the hospital.

Doctors who examined the toddler gave him a clean bill of health and released him to his parents.

The father suggested the boy opened the garage door using the remote control from his dad’s car, police said. EFE

Puerto Rico ( Woman Keeps Husband’s Dead Body in bed for 13 months - Husband possessed by the devil )

o Rico Woman Keeps Husband’s Body 13 Months

SAN JUAN – A woman in the San Juan suburb of Carolina kept the body of her husband lying on a bed for 13 months, the Puerto Rico Police Department said Monday.

The skeleton of Marco Rosa Cruz, 75, was found thanks to a 911 call that brought police to the family’s home.

Police are investigating a report by the sister of the deceased since she apparently filed a complaint with the Family Department when the wife refused to let her see her brother.

The widow, Josefa Rodriguez, told the media on Monday that the devil had possessed her husband’s body, though she gave no clear details about the cause of his death.

Relatives of Rosa Cruz said the woman had repeatedly blocked access to certain bedrooms of the family home, and when she was asked about the state of her husband’s health, she would answer that he was “waiting for the time.”

Police Sgt. Karen Gonzalez said that when she questioned Rodriguez last Saturday, the widow told her that at first she mentioned nothing about her husband’s death because she hoped that God would bring him back to life, but as time passed she grew afraid to tell the true story.

The press reported that Josefa’s 19-year-old granddaughter also lives in the house, and apparently knew that the body of her grandfather was lying on a bed in one of the bedrooms.

Neighbors said they were totally surprised to learn of the odd situation. EFE
