The Malaysian Court of Appeals today in Bangkok upheld the death sentence of death by hanging for the three Mexican brothers Gonzalez Villarreal, convicted two years ago for a drug trafficking offense.
The three judges of the court rejected the appeal of the brothers Luis Alfonso, Simon and Jose Regino, who are left to the last appeal to the Federal Court were they will again seek a royal pardon to escape capital punishment.
“Unfortunately, they have rejected their request, the sooner we will present an appeal to the Federal Court,” he said by phone the lawyer for the brothers, Kitson Foong.
The Mexicans were arrested on March 4, 2008 in a raid conducted by the Malaysian Police in the city of Johor, next to a Malaysian and one Singaporean citizen was also sentenced to death.

The national chain isn't involved, but it is on board:
