MANILA ( American killed over rent payment - Security Guard on the run ) WANTED

MANILA, Philippines—Police are now hunting a security guard at Hamilton Heights Subdivision in Las Piñas City who fled after shooting dead an American diver who helped in the retrieval of the body of Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo who was killed in a plane crash off Masbate in August last year.

Police identified Ericson Elacquio  of the South Star Security Agency as the primary suspect in the killing of Matthew Caldwell, 59, around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday.

A spot report from Chief Inspector Eddie Galang of the Las Piñas police said Elacquio shot Caldwell during an argument at the gates of the subdivision.

Caldwell and his live-in partner, Jeanelyn Flora, 36, were in their Toyota Corolla on their way home  when Elacquio barred them entry, arguing the couple had not paid their monthly dues to homeowners association.

The couple got off the car to confront the security guard, with Caldwell attempting to raise the wooden boom at the gate, prompting Elacquio to draw his gun and shoot Caldwell pointblank in the face.

Elacquio escaped with another security guard on a commandeered red motorcycle with plate number IA-4929.

The Philippine Coast Guard said Caldwell was one of the foreign technical divers who helped in the search for and retrieval of Robredo’s body from the wreck of his chartered plane.

Las Piñas police identified Caldwell as  director of a company called Allegro

Iran ( Christian Women in prison " For praying " the number keeps growing )

Restrictions and ignoring the rights of half of the Iranian population (women) is a fundamental characteristic of the Islamic regime of Iran. There is a considerable number of unknown woman prisoners imprisoned in Iranian prisons merely for their faith in Jesus Christ.
Mohabat News – Although women's participation rate in Iranian society is highly limited due to traditional Islamic beliefs, there are also women who grasp every opportunity to take social, financial and political roles in an endeavor to revive their fundamental rights.
In this matter, we shouldn't ignore the plight of female social and political activists in the fields related to religion. Women who belong to religious minority groups face unpleasant treatment from police every day in a Muslim dominant society where the government imposes harsh restrictions against women in scientific, learning and sport centers. Among religious minorities in Iran, female Christian converts face the worst form of harms and threats since they are far fewer in number.
Tens of political prisoners and prisoners of conscience, many of whom are women, are currently in Iranian prisons, whose names are not mentioned anywhere and their stories have remained untold.
The first time the existence of female Christian prisoners was officially acknowledged was on April 9, 2013 when "Faezeh Hashemi", daughter of Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani (Former Iranian president), said in an interview with Bahar Newspaper after her release from prison that she had two Christian cellmates during her detention.
Her description of the two Christian ladies raised speculation that they may be "Mitra Zahmati" and "Maryam Jalili". Iranian authorities allegedly arrested these two women in the summer of 2011. After being tried, each was sentenced to two and a half years in prison and they are now serving their sentences.
According to the reports sent out from Iran, many Christians have been arrested and imprisoned since the beginning of the current Persian year. There are also a number of Christian women among those arrested.
"Somayeh Bakhtiari", "Ronak Samavat", and "Nasim Zanjani" are three Christian convert activists who were arrested separately in the first half of the current Persian year and sent to prison. The reason for their arrest was announced as holding worship services in house churches.
"Maryam Naghash" is another Christian activist who was recently called to Evin prison to serve her sentence. She was arrested immediately after reporting to the prison. Ms. Naghash was previously sentenced to 5 years in prison for evangelistic activities. She began serving her sentence on Monday, July 15, in the women's ward of Evin prison.
Limited contact with news media is a problem for the Iranian Christian convert community, giving Iranian authorities the opportunity to treat them violently, pressure, and threaten them without the outside world knowing about them and their families' situation. Christian converts and Christian activists get arrested at any hour of the day which rarely happens to political prisoners.

The Attorney General’s Office (PGR) confirmed that the US has notified the government that they are preceding with an action for extradition purposes against the trafficker Rafael Caro Quintero “for various offenses for which he is charged in federal court for the District of California.”
In a statement, the agency said that the request of the U.S. government was brought before a federal judge, who will rule the suitability of granting the measure.
He explained that once the US files the arrest warrant against the founder of the Guadalajara Cartel, the Obama administration will have 60 days to submit the formal request for extradition under the terms available to the Extradition Treaty between the governments of Mexico and the United States.
Last Friday after the release of the Narco Lord, Attorney General of the Republic, Jesús Murillo Karam, expressed his absolute respect for the decisions of the judiciary, but expressed concern that allowed the release the drug trafficker.
In the U.S. there are calls for the re-arrest of Caro Quintero, who was responsible for the death of Officer of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), Enrique Camarena.
In a statement, the Association of Former Federal Narcotics Agents of the United States stated that “the release of this violent butcher is just another example of how the good faith efforts of the United States to work with the Mexican government may be frustrated by the powerful forces of darkness working in the shadows of the Mexican justice system. “
    He added:
“Rafael Caro Quintero should never see the light of day as a free man.”
The group asked the government of his country to seek the extradition of drug lord to the U.S. to face justice.
The Justice Department said he was “extremely disappointed” by the release, calling it “extremely alarming.”
The DEA, meanwhile, offered to continue with efforts to ensure that Caro Quintero comes to the U.S. to face charges for crimes he committed.
