Colombia ( Four Gunned Down on Soccer Field in Colombia )
BOGOTA – Four youths about to play a soccer match in a northern Colombian town were slain by gunmen on motorcycles, the media said.The crime was perpetrated Thursday in a rural area of San Carlos, a town in Cordoba province, the daily El Tiempo said on its Web site.
Witnesses cited by the newspaper said the armed men raced their motorcycles onto the playing field and started shooting indiscriminately at the players of one team.
Three of the youths died at the scene and another expired while being taken to hospital.
Students who were watching the match along with the rest of spectators panicked and ran to find safety in nearby homes.
Police, who arrived minutes after the shooting, immediately began investigating the case.

According to the report of Human Rights News Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), she has been suffering from vision problems for a long time and recently is not able to see any more.
One of the relatives of this political prisoner said to HRANA: “Her family went to visit her in the prison last Wednesday but the authorities did not allow and they could not visit her. Her brother had got the permission of the court but the prison authorities did not accept it. She was already suffering from bowel diseases and has been suffering from vision problems since two years ago. The authorities paid no attention and she cannot see any more. The do not provide her with medical treatment and they do not let us do that. They just let her become blind.”
Zeynab Jalalian had been arrested by the intelligence agents in 2007 and was sentenced first to death and the long life imprisonment by the revolutionary court.
She has been under pressure in the recent years and has been on hunger strike several times.
There were reports saying that her vision problems are because of being hit in the head during interrogations.

Sunday, October 6, 2013 Only yesterday five men were killed in different incidents of violence in the region of Tierra Caliente , Michoacán .

Ministerial Police Reports indicate that three of the victims were wearing white shirts like those worn -called community police officers that have spanned six municipalities of Tierra Caliente region in the last seven months.
Along with the bodies authorities found two cardboard with a message: "This is going to happen to the community that come to storm the town of Los Reyes ," read the posters that were seized by police as part of the evidence .
According to official reports , the discovery was made about 8:00 pm in the road stretch Tomatlán Peribán - Buenavista , hinterland of self-defense groups .The three bodies wore shirts with the legend "For a Free Kings " and shield using self with the distinction of " community policing " .Some drivers who passed through the area made the discovery and reported to the authorities, which later came to cordon off the scene and make way for ministerial proceedings .
On September 26 another attack also took place in the region , aimed at self-defense groups .On that occasion the assailants beheaded three men and their heads exhibited at the main entrance to the City of Kings .
