Mob Justice ( Alleged Murderer Gets Poisoned and Lynched in Bolivia ) He killed Pizza Shop owner

Published at 12:00 pm EST, November 5, 2013

A mob hung a 24-year-old man in a town on the Bolivian altiplano on Monday after beating him and accusing him of committing a murder last weekend, a prosecutor and other local officials said.
Prosecutor Javier Taboada told Erbol radio in La Paz that the lynching was carried out in the Andean tourist community of Sorata, where “enraged people” whipped and beat for two hours two men they accused of knifing to death the owner of a pizzeria on Sunday night.
Local residents on Sunday night seized two men and accused them of the attack, but the men at first denied any involvement.
Nevertheless, it was not long before they each blamed the other for the murder, according to the statements of residents quoted by the radio station.
One of the accused, identified as Jose Pari Chino, 24, “first was poisoned (by the angry mob), but since he continued to live he was then hung,” according to witnesses, while the other man, age 20, was saved by relatives but is currently being held in jail.
Twenty anti-riot police from La Paz were dispatched to Sorata to protect the arrested man, who sustained injuries from being beaten and burned by members of the crowd, Taboada said.
Last week, a bricklayer who was making repairs to crypts and graves in a cemetery in the city of Santa Cruz was beaten to death by five men who confused him with someone who had been desecrating graves.
Lynchings in Bolivia have become a matter of concern for the authorities and they have also attracted the attention of institutions such as the People’s Ombudsman and international U.N. human rights entities.
The people who undertake to lynch suspected criminals say they are acting in accord with “indigenous and community justice,” which is allowed under Bolivia’s 2009 constitution, although the authorities say that that system of justice does not include “capital punishment,” considering it - rather - to be murder

Iran ( Christian Man Released from prison - Court dropped all charges )

Christian Convert, Mostafa Bordbar, Released from Evin Prison

.
An appeals court has acquitted Mostafa Bordbar from all charges and he was released from Evin prison in Tehran.
According to Mohabat News, Mostafa Bordbar, a Christian resident of Rasht (Northern Iran) was released from Evin prison after spending eleven months behind bars.
The appeals court was held on October 30, 2013 in Branch 43 of the Revolution Court of Tehran and was chaired by Judge Salimi.
Mostafa Bordbar appeared in court and was granted an opportunity to defend himself regarding the charges against him. As a result the court dropped all charges and he was released from prison on Sunday November 3.
Earlier, on June 09, 2013 an initial court had sentenced the Christian man to ten years in prison. The initial court had been held in Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court in Tehran.
The ten year prison sentence had been issued by Judge Pir-Abbasi and delivered to Bordbar's lawyer, Ms. Shima Ghousheh on July 31, 2013.
Shima Ghousheh is also a member of Human Rights Commission in Iran. She appealed the decision and said that she was hopeful that with statements she prepared the charges would be dropped in the appeals court.
As a result of the initial court ruling, Mostafa Bordbar had been sentenced to five years in prison for being a member of a dissident group and an additional five years for forming gatherings (house-churches) intended to undermine national security. So, the court sentenced this young Christian man to 10 years of imprisonment.
Mostafa Bordbar was held in ward 350 of Evin prison together with a few other Christian prisoners, including Farshid Fathi and Alireza Seyyedian (a member of the non-Trinitarian Christian group).
It should be remembered that Mostafa Bordbar had been arrested on December 27, 2012 during a Christmas celebration in Tehran together with about 50 other Farsi-speaking Christians. These Christian believers had gathered in a house in northern Tehran in order to worship the Lord and celebrate Christmas.
Mostafa Bordbar was born in 1986. On another occasion, he had been arrested in 2009 in Rasht for converting to Christianity and for attending a house-church. He was found guilty of "apostasy", however he was released later on bail. This has remained as a criminal record for him.
It is worth mentioning that earlier, two Christian woman prisoners, Mitra Zahmati and Maryam Jalili who had each been sentenced to two and a half years in prison were released right before President Rouhani's trip to New York to attend UN Genral Assembly. Also several other prisoners of conscience were released with them. Their release happened while only one month remained to complete their two and a half year prison term.

Residents of the central Mexican town of Huehuetoca attacked and burned the city hall of that municipality early Saturday, hours after a 14-year-old youth was killed by gunshots allegedly fired by municipal police, local media reported Saturday.
When questioned by Efe, neither the Mexico state Attorney General’s Office, nor the State Security Agency, nor ASE, provided any details of what happened, which in turn led to an investigation that is now underway.
Local media said in their online editions that in the early hours Saturday, at around 2:00 a.m., a fight among young people at a dance in the town brought municipal agents on the scene to try and arrest the culprits.
The local cops apparently fired on the youths, killing one unidentified 14-year-old and wounding another person age 34.
After the shooting, locals set fire to the town hall, overturned two patrol cars and seized several cops and tried to lynch them.
The daily El Universal said that some 400 people clashed with police and that some government offices were burned.
State police agents arrested “three individuals for their presumed responsibility for the death of the minor,” the daily Reforma said, but state authorities have not confirmed the story.
Located north of Mexico City, the municipality is in the Valley of Mexico and has around 100,000 inhabitants.
