Mexico’s PAN Says 2 Party Activists Murdered

MEXICO CITY – Mexico’s National Action Party, or PAN, confirmed that two youth activists were murdered and condemned their deaths in the strongest terms.

The victims, Martin Alonso Colmenero and Francisco Javier Aguilar, were both active members of the center-right party’s Youth Action Secretariat in the northern state of Chihuahua, according to the PAN, which called on authorities to conduct a thorough investigation.

“National Action is mourning along with the family and friends of these young activists who were killed in a cowardly fashion, and hoping they can soon find consolation after such a lamentable tragedy,” Sunday’s statement read.

The youths were found dead Saturday on the Aldama-Juarez highway with their hands tied and gunshot wounds.

“These young people were activists dedicated to serving the common good from this political institution and, at the time of their deaths, were working together on a rural property regularization program, among other projects, before being kidnapped and murdered in the state capital (Chihuahua city),” the statement added.

The PAN is “extremely concerned” about the level of violent crime in Mexico that recently “has affected some activists within our party,” Chairman Gustavo Madero was quoted as saying.

According to HRANA quoting from Mashregh, 40 followers and instructors of Erfane Halgheh were arrested in a teaching session and 12 of them were prosecuted and sentenced.
These 12 Erfane Halgheh Master’s (Instructors) who held teaching classes after the arrest of Mohammad Ali Taheri (the founder of this Mysticism) were prosecuted in court  on the same charges in a case made against them  and these 12 people were sentenced together to 24 years imprisonment and about 100 Million Tomans Fines.
Since they were charged with Blasphemy based on the degree of charges, they were sentenced between one to five years each and because of earning illegitimate were sentenced to Fines.
Also two individuals, who attended the protests formed in support of Mohammad Ali Taheri in front of Islamic Revolutionary Court, Evin Prison and in front of the Human Right Council office in Iran, were sentenced to 1 year imprisonment and 74 lashes each on the charge of disturbing the public peace.
This source continued in this report, Mohammad Ali Taheri is serving his sentence at Evin Prison on the charge of Blasphemy and his case is being reviewed for the charge of “Corruption on earth” and that the judicial system has been seeking advice from three supreme religion authorities (Marja Taghlid) who have confirmed Mohammad Ali Taheri’s Apostate crime has been agreed upon. A hearing took place on 11 March 2015 at the Islamic Revolutionary Court.
This News Agency added, during the past couple of month several groups close to Erfane Higher inside and outside of the country made claims about the critical health condition of Mohammad Ali Taheri. These claims continued to the point that sources announced his death and recently after Erfane Halgheh followers heard the news about his new court date and rumours about his health condition demanded an update on his health.  In spite of this, a clip was published on 16 March 2015 in which he was shown healthy in the court corridors and sitting next to his wife and later joined later by Alizadeh Tabatabaie and his other lawyer.
The user who published the 3 minutes clip on web mentioned in the description: “ an unexpected meeting with Master Taheri in the court corridor . Master’s health is good and despite what is rumoured, Master-as it is clear in clip- in is good condition. In the court, his wife was sitting next to him and Mr Alizadeh was there as well but I did not dare to approach them because of the security measures.”
Previously, 16 Erafen HAlgheh followers have been sentenced to 37 years imprisonment and 130 Million Tomans Fine and this is because considering the level of charged each of them received 1 to 5 years sentence and due to gathering of illegitimate funds – based on their income- they receive a Fine. Couple of them have been sentenced to lashes since Alcoholic Drinks were confiscated from them.
It is important to mention that some pupils of Mr Taheri believe this clip is fake and goes back to a long time before his hunger strike.

Iran - young laborer "beaten to death " by Iranian police ( returned to family dead)

NCRI - The Iranian regime’s henchmen killed a young laborer under torture after his arrest last Tuesday shortly before the Fire Festival marking the beginning of the New Year celebrations in Iran.
Mr. Mohsen Maleki, 25, who worked in a sweet shop was arrested on March 17, but his body was handed over to his family the next day with fractures, hematomas and injuries covering his face and various parts of his body.
According to eye-witnesses, he was completely healthy before his arrest.
Every year since 2011, the security forces had routinely summoned Mr. Maleki to police headquarters prior to the Fire Festival to threaten him not to hold the ceremony.
This year, following his summoning by regime elements, Mr. Maleki refused to report to the police headquarters.
Subsequently, he was apprehended by elements of the security forces and transferred to the security forces’ headquarters.
Hours after arrest, he lost his life due to the battering and savage torture he suffered at the hands of officers.
The Iranian Resistance calls on the UN Secretary-General, the Human Rights Council, the Special Rapporteurs, and other pertinent bodies, to strongly condemn this crime and it urges for the formation of an international delegation to investigate this atrocity and similar crimes such as the murder of Mr. Satar Beheshti, a laborer and blogger who died in custody in early November 2012 several days after being arrested by the Iranian Cyber Police unit for criticizing the Iranian regime on his Facebook page.

Mother of captured Ukraine pilot lobbies Germany to help free daughter

Pro-Russian separatists battling Kiev's forces captured Savchenko, 33, last June and handed her over to Moscow, where she is being held on charges of aiding the killing of two Russian journalists in eastern Ukraine.
Savchenko, who staged a hunger strike for more than two months, has become a symbol of resistance to Russian aggression in Ukraine. She denies the Russian accusation, but could be jailed for 20 years if found guilty.
Her mother Maria Savchenko held talks in Berlin with senior officials of the German foreign ministry and lawmakers from the Bundestag lower house of parliament's foreign affairs committee, an official from the Ukrainian embassy in Berlin said.
A German foreign ministry spokesman said there were no new developments in the case, but he welcomed Russia's decision to grant Ukrainian doctors access to the military pilot.
"Her health condition has deteriorated again," the Ukrainian embassy official told Reuters, speaking on condition of anonymity, adding that Savchenko had begun a new hunger strike.
"Time is running out," the diplomat added. Savchenko's lawyer has warned that she may die in Russian detention.
The United Nations, the United States and Britain called for her release during a U.N. Security Council meeting on March 6 but Russia defended her detention as legal.

In January, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko sent a letter to Putin demanding Savchenko's release after reports that she had lost 17 kg (37 lb) since going on a water and glucose diet in December.

Former Nurse Arrested for Removing Fetus from Pregnant Woman

DENVER – Police authorities of Longmont in Northern Colorado confirmed having arrested a former nurse aide who allegedly attacked Wednesday a young pregnant woman and removed her fetus, killing it in the process and leaving the mother severely injured.

According to the police, the attacker is Dynel Lane, 34, who Thursday had her first court hearing where she was charged with attempted murder (in case of mother) and illegal termination of pregnancy (in case of the fetus).

Current laws in the state of Colorado do not recognize unborn babies as persons because of which murder charges cannot be presented against Lane for the death of the fetus.

Lane was detained at a local jail with her bail set at $2 million.

Lane could face a sentence of up to 48 years in prison if eventually found guilty of all the charges against her.

Boulder county district attorney Stanley Garnett told local media that the victim (a 26-year-old woman whose identity was not revealed) went to Lane’s house on Wednesday to buy baby clothes, in response to an online advertisement on Craigslist.

The victim was possibly attacked on entering the house and had the fetus removed from her womb.

Despite her critical condition, the woman managed to call 911, the U.S. emergency number, and was aided by medical personnel before being taken to a hospital in the area, where she continues to remain in intensive care.

The Craigslist account in question has been frozen and is now a part of ongoing investigations, according to the attorney.

Garnett said at a press conference that the charges against Lane could change from attempted murder to murder if it could be proved that the fetus was alive for a while outside the mother’s womb before it died.

This will be determined during its autopsy early Friday.

Garnett said that in the absence of a precise legal definition on the issue, an interpretation by the courts may be necessary to finally decide the charges against the suspect.

Lane was arrested once she arrived at a hospital (the same where the victim is admitted) with a dead fetus, claiming to have suffered a miscarriage. The police took little time to connect the two circumstances and arrested her.

The motives of the attack remain unknown, while Lane’s husband is not considered a suspect.
