According to the report from Montgomery County Animal Control, the attacks took place over a month until the owner of the livestock called MCAC. The report states the livestock was valued around $400 and was able to finally lure it into capture by using the rest of a chicken the dog had killed.
Sherry Houck admitted to owning the shepherd and was instructed to get her pet up to date with rabies vaccinations and cited for having a "dog at large." Houck told investigators she would speak with the owner of the livestock and offer apologies.
