Fugitive Turns Self In After Profiled On AMW
Police say William Rohman, who had been on the run for more than a decade, surrendered to authorities after being profiled on AMW's 50 fugitives in 50 states show. Rohman was wanted for the armed robbery of an elderly man ouside of Ellen's Bar in St. Ann, Missouri.

The holidays are a time of joy and fellowship for many, but for Diana Smith, they are a grim reminder of the terrifying night that would change her life forever.

It was Dec. 1, 2005, when Diana drifted off to sleep, only to awake in the midst of a living nightmare.

Police say she awoke around 4:15 a.m. in her Memphis, Tenn., home to overhear her mother, Dorothy, in a heated argument with her estranged boyfriend, Robert Lee King.

Concerned by her mother's screams for help, cops say she wandered down the hallway to make sure everything was OK.

According to cops, she reached the bedroom doorway to see King standing over her mother repeatedly stabbing her in the neck while she lay in bed.

Mendoza-Benitez Charged With Unthinkable Crime.


Police in Denver, Co, say in 2007, a young woman came forward to report that a relative had forced her to have sexual relations a few years earlier when she was 7 years old.

Police say she held the shameful secret in for several years but the pain became too much to bare. Police questioned David Mendoza-Benitez, but he denied the charges. When other relatives came forward with similar allegations, Mendoza-Benitez went on the run.

Along with charges of aggravated incest, Mendoza-Benitez is also charged with making a false statement in application for passport when investigators from Department of State's Bureau of Diplomatic Security Service learned that Mendoza-Benitez applied for a U.S. passport in Aurora, Colorado as Puerto Rican-born Jose Hernaldo Rondon-Vargas.

Glen Stewart Godwin MURDER WANTED escape

Police say Glen Stewart Godwin is a convicted killer, a known escape artist and one of the FBI's Ten Most Wanted fugitives.

Godwin's tale of trouble begins in Palm Springs, Calif., where he and Kim LeValley became fast friends. Cops say Godwin was jealous of LeValley's wealth and wanted his own piece of the good life. On Aug. 18, 1980, he decided to rob LeValley. Godwin lured LeValley over to his house to play tennis, but Godwin was serving up murder.

Godwin stabbed LeValley 26 times with a kitchen knife and had accomplices discard the body. Police say they tossed LeValley's body in the back of a truck and drove him to a remote area of California, using homemade explosives to blow up the truck and eliminate any evidence. However, according to police, the force of the blast caused LeValley's torso to be thrown from the vehicle.

Two Decades Later, Search For Michaela Garecht Still An Active Investigation

It was November 1988 when Michaela Garecht and a friend rode their push scooter to a nearby convenience store, the Rainbow Market, in Hayward, Calif., east of San Francisco.


When the girls came out, one of the scooters was gone. Michaela that noticed it was pushed against a car in the parking lot.

When Michaela went to retrieve her scooter, a man jumped out of the car, snatched her and threw her in his vehicle.

He sped off, and Michaela was never seen again. The cashier inside made a frantic 9-1-1 call, and investigators responded.

They spoke with the cashier before speaking with Michaela’s friend. They gleaned a preliminary description of the car, though some of the information changed once they spoke with the other young girl Michaela was with. Both descriptions went out to the public. He was driving an older tannish-gold, full-size car, boxy in shape with body damage.

Michaela was gone, vanished without a trace, and the hunt was on to find her abductor.

Michaela's abductor's is described as a white male in his 20's with severe acne and boils on his face. When she was snatched, he may have been wearing his hair in a ponytail, and his ears stick out more than normal. Cops say he had long, dirty blonde hair. Witnesses say he has mottled enamel on his teeth, and he's very think, with fair skin.
