Missing girl abducted from Arizona home?

An arrest has been made in connection to the disappearance of Isabella Grogan-Cannella, the 8-year-old girl who vanished from her home without a trace two days ago.
Justin James Rector, 26, was taken into custody Thursday by Bullhead City, Arizona, police. He was arrested for kidnapping and first-degree murder.
Isabella was first reported missing around 1:30 a.m on September 2 after her family discovered the 8-year-old was not in her bed or in the house.
Police and search teams scoured the area looking for any sign of the missing girl. It was those search and rescue teams who discovered the girl's body in a shallow grave Wednesday.
According to police, this case is still under investigation.

BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. — A body has been found in Bullhead City, Arizona, the same place where an 8-year-old girl has been reported missing. Officials say the body was found not far from the girl's home around noon on Wednesday.

Isabella Grogan-Cannella, disappeared from her home early Tuesday morning. 

Police said it is too soon to know if it's the young girl.

Earlier Wednesday, police said they were treating her disappearance as a criminal case because Grogan-Cannella vanished without a trace.

Police were called to a home in the 2400 block of Lakeside Dr. around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. The residents reported Isabella, who also goes by Bella, was not in her bed or inside the home.

No other information about the case was immediately available.

BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. - Authorities are scouring northwestern Arizona in search of an 8-year-old girl reported missing from home.

Police, firefighters and volunteers are canvassing Bullhead City neighborhoods, nearby parks and river areas to look for Isabella "Bella" Grogan-Cannella. Police were called to her home early Tuesday when the girl's family couldn't find her in the house.

The child was last seen around 11:40 p.m. Monday, and police were called around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday when she was discovered missing from her bed, reports CBS Las Vegas.

Police Lt. Jerry Duke said Wednesday that there's no sign of a break-in. He says investigators haven't ruled out an abduction but have nothing solid to indicate what happened.

The FBI and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children have been called in to assist in the search, reports the station.

Authorities say Isabella is 4 feet, 8 inches tall, weighs about 85 pounds and has shoulder-length dark blonde hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a green, ruffled, sparkly tank top and dark shorts and possibly is barefoot.

Bullhead City is along the Colorado River, about 100 miles southeast of Las Vegas.

LITTLEFIELD, AZ - A motorcyclist who was arrested after fleeing a traffic stop in the Arizona Strip region has died in custody.

Mohave County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Trish Carter says deputies in the Littlefield area spotted a motorcycle Friday night traveling without a rear license plate.

Deputies attempted to stop the rider, who then abandoned his vehicle and ran into the desert.

Carter says deputies found him in some brush and used a Taser twice after he allegedly became combative.

The suspect stopped breathing while being led in handcuffs to a patrol car.

Despite paramedics' efforts, the man died at the scene.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident. The deputies involved have been placed on paid administrative leave.

The motorcyclist has not yet been identified.
