MEXICO (RAPIST) Kidnapped -Tortured-Castrated-and Crucified

Kidnapped, Tortured, Castrated, and Crucified

Borderland Beat

This is my first post on the big screen. Big deal, some of you are saying. Me too, really. I wanted to start with an antojito just to get my feet wet. So bear with me. New technology and all. I thank all my friends back there with me in the forum, PincheG, DD, SiskioK, Guero7, Chimera, Milo, J, Armchair, Primus, Baggy, off the top of my head, on and on we could go, but especially I appreciate Chivis and AJ for always being smart, informative, humorous, and protective. Amigos. Buggs too. Now, I'll run back to the cover of the forum. Mostly this story is just another example of impunity that is so blatant and rampant in Mexico lately.
The victim was identified as Eladio Martínez Cruz and according to the police report he was tortured, castrated and assassinated before he was crucified.

Martínez Cruz had his arms outstretched and tied to a wooden stake of nearly three meters long, which in turn hung in tangled loop of rope encircling the metal post road sign.

In addition to being impaled on a sign, Eladio Martinez Cruz was stuck with two icepicks, imbedded and holding a placard to his chest with the message, "This happened to me for committing rape. This is going to happen to you gossips, jokers, finger pointers. Know it this is no game." Martinez Cruz had a criminal complaint against him for rape which was apparently committed against a women who he attacked with a knife this past September 3rd.

According to various versions in the media, the subject was detained and taken by the municipal police for a health check when he was kidnapped by a group of armed men. Days after, he was found and appeared assassinated. The finding was first reported to the Municipal Police Contepec, Michoacán then the Attorney General of the State (PGJE).

MEXICO ( NINE bodies HANGING from bridge) Nuevo Laredo

Nine Bodies Found Hanging from Bridge in Nuevo Laredo
Saturday, September 15, 2012 |
The bodies of nine men were found hanging from a bridge Friday in Nuevo Laredo, a border city in the northeastern Mexican state of Tamaulipas, officials said.

“The individuals were hung (early Friday) from a bridge at the intersection of Colosio Blvd. and the highway leading to Monterrey,” capital of the neighboring state of Nuevo Leon, a security spokesman in Nuevo Laredo said.
The bodies bore signs of torture and the suspected perpetrators of the crime left a message whose content was not disclosed.

Prior to the discovery of the bodies, an armed commando had dragged several people from a bar and later set the establishment on fire. Investigators are trying to determine if those victims were the same people hung from the bridge.

In May, the bodies of five men and four women who were blindfolded and bore signs of torture were found hanging from another Nuevo Laredo bridge.

On that occasion, suspected members of the Los Zetas drug cartel said in a message that the victims were members of the rival Gulf mob who were killed for “heating up the plaza (drug-smuggling route)” and attracting the attention of the security forces with their attacks.

The Zetas have threatened to wipe out the Gulf organization, which has allied itself with the powerful Sinaloa gang – headed by Joaquin “El Chapo” (Shorty) Guzman – in a bid to seize control of the city, located across the border from Laredo, Texas.

Nakoula Basseley Nakoula (FILMMAKER GETS Attorney) CERRITOS Ca.

CERRITOS, Calif. - The man behind the anti-Muslim movie that has inflamed the Middle East has obtained legal counsel.
Escorted by Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies, attorney Steve Seiden emerged from the Cerritos, California, home of Nakoula Basseley Nakoula after a lengthy meeting Friday afternoon.

Seiden says he's been asked to consult with Nakoula about matters he's not at liberty to discuss.
Seiden said to reporters, "You're keeping his young children prisoners in their home because they're afraid to come out."
Seiden said he had no further comment, but asked the throng of news media to leave.

Nakoula Basseley Nakoula (ON PROBATION) NOT to use COMPUTER (YOUTUBE MUST CANCEL ACCOUNT)

WASHINGTON (AP) — A federal probation office is looking into the case of the anti-Muslim filmmaker whose work is inflaming the Middle East.
The probation department in California's central district is reviewing the case of Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, who was previously convicted on bank fraud charges and was banned from using computers or the Internet as part of his sentence. He's still on probation.
Karen Redmond, a spokeswoman for the administrative office of the U.S. courts, confirmed Friday the review is under way. If the probation department determines Nakoula violated terms of his release, a judge could send him back to prison.

Nakoula pleaded no contest in 2010 to federal bank fraud charges in California and was ordered to pay more than $790,000 in restitution. He was also sentenced to 21 months in federal prison and was ordered not to use computers or the Internet for five years without approval from his probation officer.
It could be difficult to establish a probation violation against Nakoula. In the federal court system, the conditions of supervised release are geared toward the offense for which a defendant was found guilty and imprisoned; in Nakoula's case, bank fraud.
Federal authorities have identified Nakoula, a self-described Coptic Christian, as the key figure behind the anti-Muslim film that ignited mob violence against U.S. embassies across the Mideast, a U.S. law enforcement official told The Associated Press on Thursday.

Sam Bacile or Nakoula Basseley Nakoula? Federal officials consider Nakoula as man behind the film

Read more: http://www.wptv.com/dpp/news/world/sam-bacile-or-nakoula-basseley-nakoula-federal-officials-consider-nakoula-as-man-behind-the-film#ixzz26SXpse8i
Early reports after Tuesday’s violence against American diplomatic posts in Egypt and Libya identified Bacile as the producer and director of an absurd anti-Muslim film blamed for inspiring the anger of the mobs.
But his biography remains sketchy at best. He has claimed to be a real estate developer, but nobody with his name has a real-estate license or appears in corporation records in California. He has been described as Israeli, but Israeli officials have not confirmed or denied that he is a citizen. He has also claimed to have raised millions for his film, but the results, a low-budget, offensive mess, seem to speak for themselves.
What is known is that in the first two days of July, someone with the YouTube username “Sam Bacile” uploaded two similar previews for a supposed full-length feature film called “Innocence of Muslims.” The same user uploaded an overdubbed version, apparently in Arabic, on Sept. 4.

DOG (Watches over OWNERS GRAVE) Will NOT Leave

Capitan keeps watch over Miguel Guzman's grave (La Voz)An extremely dedicated dog has continued to show its loyalty, keeping watch on its owner's grave six years after he passed away.
Capitan, a German shepherd, reportedly ran away from home after its owner, Miguel Guzman, died in 2006. A week later, the Guzman family found the dog sitting by his grave in central Argentina.
Miguel Guzman adopted Capitan in 2005 as a gift for his teenage son, Damian. And for the past six years, Capitan has continued to stand guard at Miguel's grave. The family says the dog rarely leaves the site.
"We searched for him, but he had vanished," widow Veronica Guzman told LaVoz.com. "We thought he must have got run over and died.
'The following Sunday we went to the cemetery, and Damian recognized his pet. Capitan came up to us, barking and wailing as if he were crying."
Adding to the unusual circumstances, Veronica says the family never brought Capitan to the cemetery before he was discovered there.
"It is a mystery how he managed to find the place," she said.

Cemetery director Hector Baccega says he and his staff have begun feeding and taking care of Capitan.
"He turned up here one day, all on his own, and started wandering all around the cemetery until he eventually found the tomb of his master," Baccega said.
"During the day he sometimes has a walk around the cemetery, but always rushes back to the grave. And every day, at six o'clock sharp, he lies down on top of the grave, stays there all night."
But the Guzman family hasn't abandoned Capitan. Damian says the family has tried to bring Capitan home several times but that he always returns to the cemetery on his own.
"I think he's going to be there until he dies, too. He's looking after my dad," he said.

MURDER Suspects (in Custody) FOR Killing U.S Ambassador

TRIPOLI (Reuters) - Libyan authorities have made four arrests in the investigation into the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi in which the U.S. ambassador and three embassy staff were killed, the deputy interior minister said on Thursday.
"Four men are in custody and we are interrogating them because they are suspected of helping instigate the events at the U.S. consulate," Wanis Sharif told Reuters.
He gave no more details.

U.S. ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens and three other Americans died after the gunmen attacked the U.S. consulate and a safe house refuge in the eastern city of Benghazi on Tuesday night. The attackers were part of a mob blaming America for a film they said insulted the Prophet Mohammad.
Demonstrators attacked the U.S. embassies in Yemen and Egypt on Thursday in protests against the film, and American warships were moved closer to Libya.
President Barack Obama has vowed to bring to justice those responsible for the Benghazi attack, which U.S. officials said may have been planned in advance. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Washington had nothing to do with the video, which she called "disgusting and reprehensible".

FROM POLICE OFFICER to ( DRUG Cartel Boss) "El COSS"

Jorge Eduardo Costilla Sánchez, El Coss, was directing operations for the Gulf Cartel along with Mario Cárdenas Guillén, “El Gordo” who was arrested last week by Mexican authorities.

There are reports coming out of Tampico Tamaulipas that Mexican Marines have captured Jorge Eduardo Costilla Sánchez, aka "EL Coss," leader of the Gulf Cartel.
Numerous Mexican media outlets as well as internet social networks have made reference to this possibility and El Coss is expected to be presented to the media tomorrow in Mexico City, that should enable the Mexican people to finally see El Coss.

The office of the Mexican Naval Intelligence or "Secretaría de Marina Armada de México" is claiming the capture was made without a single round being fired.

Jorge Eduardo Costilla Sánchez was born August 1, 1971 in Tamaulipas and was a former police officer in the city of Matamoros between 1992 and 1995. He was a Lieutenant (lugarteniente) for Osiel Cárdenas Guillén, and after the arrest of Osiel, Coss became a top capo.

The Mexican Navy Secretariat (Semar) presented to the media Jorge Eduardo Costilla Sanchez "El Coss", alleged leader of the Gulf Cartel.

At a news conference, Jose Luis Vergara, a spokesman for Semar reported that Mexico had offered a reward of more than 30 million pesos for anyone who gave information for the whereabouts of El Coss.
Authorities said that the leader of the Gulf Cartel was considered by the Mexican federal government and U.S authorities as the most important captured capo in recent times and was arrested along with other accomplices. Among the other men captured some were identified as Miguel "N" El Guero, Jaime "N" El Corona and Ernesto "N."
Some of the other men that were displayed were wearing military uniforms and it is suggested that the men might be part of El Coss protection detail.
"Jorge Eduardo Costilla Sanchez 'El Coss', was arrested around 6 pm in the Lomas de Rosales, in Tampico, Tamaulipas, that included about 30 armed forces of the Mexican marines," said the spokesman of the federal agency.

EGYPT (Protesters burn US Flag) OVER youtube video

In place of the U.S. flag, the protesters tried to raise a black flag with the words "There is no God but God, and Mohammad is his messenger", a Reuters witness said.
Once the U.S. flag was hauled down, some protesters tore it up and showed off pieces to television cameras. Others burned the remains outside the fortress-like embassy building in central Cairo. But some protesters objected to the flag burning.

Many Muslims consider any depiction of the Prophet to be offensive.
"This movie must be banned immediately and an apology should be made," said 19-year-old Ismail Mahmoud, a member of the so-called "ultras" soccer supporters who played a big role in the uprising that brought down Hosni Mubarak last year.
He called on President Mohamed Mursi, Egypt's first civilian president and an Islamist, to take action, without giving details of the film that angered him or other protesters.
About 20 people stood on top of the embassy wall, while about 2,000 protesters gathered outside. The demonstrators were mainly supporters of Islamist groups or "ultras" youths.
Rafik Farouk, 38, an Egyptian Christian, also took part. "I am here because I am Egyptian and reject anything that insults Islam or anything that sparks division in Egypt," he said.

CALIFORNIA (FILMMAKER Hiding) SAM Bacile started Protests in MIDDLE EAST with his movie

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A California-based filmmaker went into hiding after a YouTube trailer of his movie attacking Islam's prophet Muhammad sparked angry assaults by ultra-conservative Muslims on U.S. missions in Egypt and Libya. The U.S. ambassador to Libya and three American members of his staff were killed.
Speaking by phone Tuesday from an undisclosed location, writer and director Sam Bacile remained defiant, saying Islam is a cancer and that the 56-year-old intended his film to be a provocative political statement condemning the religion.

Protesters angered over Bacile's film opened fire on and burned down the U.S. consulate in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi. Libyan officials said Wednesday that Ambassador Chris Stevens was killed Tuesday night when he and a group of embassy employees went to the consulate to try to evacuate staff as the building came under attack by a mob firing machine guns and rocket propelled grenades.
Bacile said he is a real estate developer and an Israeli Jew. But Israeli officials said they had not heard of him and there was no record of him being a citizen. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not permitted to share personal information with the media.
In Egypt, protesters scaled the walls of the U.S. embassy in Cairo and replaced an American flag with an Islamic banner.

TUCSON Az (Man WANTED for BEATING a 84 yr old man) Thomas Domagala

TUCSON - A man with a criminal past is on the run, wanted by the Sheriff's Department.
Detectives accuse Thomas Domagala of beating an elderly man last week.
Reportedly the attack came as Domagala tried to steal the victim's car.
The 27-year-old is also wanted for multiple burglaries at other homes.
Domagala is considered armed and dangerous. And he might not be alone.
Domagala is accused of at least seven burglaries in the foothills, and Northwest Tucson since July.
Resident Mickey Walters says, "pretty scary, I actually hadn't heard about it, so I'm glad you mentioned it."
UPDATE (Killed by police in Las Vegas)

Colin Davies says he too is surprised by the news. "I don't know, this neighborhood is usually pretty safe."
Last week, deputies say Domagala put an elderly man in the hospital, with a fractured skull.
Deputy Tom Peine with the Pima County Sheriff's Department says, "a physical confrontation ensured during which, the suspect took a gun and pistol whipped him, the 84-year-old man."
Before this latest alleged crime spree, court records show Domagala served three years in prison for theft and identity theft. He was released six months ago.
Authorities say he's likely in the company of 26-year-old Tabatha Alvarez. Police are calling her a person of interest.
"It's mainly on the North side, but we want people to be aware that he could be anywhere in town," said Deputy Peine.
Domagala could possibly be driving a stolen white Saturn SUV.
Anyone with information on where he is should call 911 or 88-crime.

DRONES Planned (FOR Libya) LONE WOLF "Ready to strike"

The deadly attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya may have been a planned operation and not a spontaneous protest that turned violent, U.S. officials told the New York Times and CNN on Wednesday. Initial reports suggested that protesters in Benghazi, Libya, were angry about an online video that mocked the Muslim Prophet Muhammad, and then attacked the consulate, killing U.S.
Drone attacks planned for Libya "Lone Wolf ready to strike"!

Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other foreign service workers. But now, according to the New York Times, officials suspect that "an organized group had either been waiting for an opportunity to exploit like the protests over the video or perhaps even generated the protests as a cover for their attack." U.S. sources told CNN that they don't think Stevens was a specific target of the attack.
U.S. officials also told the New York Times that they still believe the protest in Cairo, where rioters scaled the U.S. Embassy's walls and destroyed the American flag, was an unorganized mob angry over the video

RUSSIA (DOG Dies trying to save OWNER) Kazakhstan

A heartbreaking story out of Kazakhstan: According to reports, a dog was killed while trying to save its owner from an oncoming train.
The suicidal owner had passed out on the train tracks after drinking a bottle of alcohol. According to Russian news site Ria Novosti, the man told authorities that his dog dragged him to safety. The dog wasn't able to avoid being hit.

"Upon seeing the train, the dog started pulling its owner away," said Aida Muldashevam, who investigated the incident. "When train drivers saw the dog on the rail tracks, they used the emergency brake."
Unfortunately, it was too late. The dog was killed instantly, while the owner was taken to the hospital. He had two broken ribs and an injury to his shoulder.
Dogs have a well-deserved reputation for loyalty. At a funeral for a Navy SEAL who died in Afghanistan in 2011, dog Hawkeye lay by the casket during the memorial service. And in a small village in China last year, a dog remained at its owner's grave for weeks. When villagers took the dog back to town, the dog returned to the grave. Villagers eventually decided to build the dog a kennel near its departed friend.

DRONE Strike (KILLS al-Qaida No. 2 MAN) SANAA, Yemen

SANAA, Yemen (AP) — An airstrike killed al-Qaida's No. 2 leader in Yemen along with five others traveling with him in one car on Monday, senior Yemeni Defense Ministry officials reported. If confirmed, Saeed al-Shihri's death would be a major blow to the militant group.
The officials said the missile that killed al-Shihri, a Saudi national, was believed to have been fired by a U.S. operated drone, but that couldn't immediately be confirmed. The U.S. doesn't usually comment on such attacks although it has used drones in the past to go after al-Qaida members in Yemen.

The Yemeni officials were elaborating on a brief Defense Ministry statement sent to Yemeni reporters on their mobile phones. A senior official at the Yemeni president's office confirmed the attack, but said DNA tests have yet to establish al-Shihri's identity. The officials all spoke on

condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to release the information to the media.
U.S. State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said she could not confirm al-Shihri's death.
Al-Shihri's death would amount to a major breakthrough for U.S. efforts to cripple the group in Yemen, which is considered a crucial battleground with the terror network. The impoverished nation on the southern tip of the Arabian Peninsula is on the doorstep of Saudi Arabia and fellow oil-producing nations of the Gulf and lies on strategic sea routes leading to the Suez Canal.
Al-Qaida's Yemen branch is seen as the world's most active, planning and carrying out attacks against targets in and outside U.S. territory. The group took advantage of the political vacuum during unrest inspired by the Arab Spring last year to take control of large swaths of land in the south. But the Yemeni military has launched a broad U.S.-backed offensive and driven the movement from several towns.

Taliban ( THREATEN to kill or kidnap Prince Harry) Afghanistan

KABUL (Reuters) - The Afghan Taliban said on Monday they were doing everything in their power to try to kidnap or kill Britain's Prince Harry, who arrived in Afghanistan last week to fly attack helicopters.

Queen Elizabeth's grandson is in Afghanistan on a four-month tour, based in Camp Bastion in the volatile Helmand province, where he will be on the front line in the NATO-led war against Taliban insurgents.
"We are using all our strength to get rid of him, either by killing or kidnapping," Zabihullah Mujahid, a Taliban spokesman, told Reuters by phone from an undisclosed location.
"We have informed our commanders in Helmand to do whatever they can to eliminate him," Mujahid added, declining to go into detail on what he called the "Harry operations".
NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said he was not worried about the Taliban threat against Prince Harry
