But Zahau's family always believed her death was suspicious. The lawsuit claims Adam Shacknai and Dina Shacknai, the brother and ex-wife of Zahua's boyfriend, Jonah Shacknai, and Dina Shacknai's twin sister, Nina Romano, were responsible for the woman's death. The filing of the lawsuit was first reported by U-T San Diego.
The lawsuit doesn't provide any specific evidence against the three, but alleges "defendants planned and prepared to batter and murder Rebecca and did thereafter brutally, and with malice aforethought, stalk, attack, choke, bound and hang" Zahau at the mansion belonging to her billionaire boyfriend. Jonah Shacknai was not named in the lawsuit.

Police Seize Nearly 3.5 Tons of Marijuana in Colombia
The marijuana, which may have belonged to the Los Urabeños gang, was found at four storage sites in a rural area outside the city of Cienaga during “Operation Republica 91,” the National Police said

BOGOTA – A total of 3,436 kilos of marijuana were seized in separate operations in the Caribbean province of Magdalena, the Colombian National Police said Sunday.

The marijuana, which may have belonged to the Los Urabeños gang, was found at four storage sites in a rural area outside the city of Cienaga during “Operation Republica 91,” the National Police said.

The biggest find was made at a site in the hamlet of Palmor, where officers seized a total of 2,457 kilos of pot, while 979 kilos were seized in Jonoluras.

Los Urabeños, a gang involved in drug trafficking and other criminal activities, was organized by former United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia, or AUC, militia federation members.

It is one of the gangs with roots in the paramilitary movement that took over the smuggling routes and organizations of the defunct AUC’s leaders, the majority of whom were extradited to the United States to face trial on drug charges.

The AUC, accused of committing numerous human rights violations, demobilized more than 31,000 of its fighters between the end of 2003 and mid-2006 as part of the peace process with former President Alvaro Uribe’s administration.

MEXICO ( Danger Alert - Health risk- Due to 800 Tons of Asbestos Dumped in Mexico " Into the Air" ) Thanks Russia ?

MEXICO CITY – More than 800 tons of asbestos from Russia were dumped eight months ago at the Mexican Gulf coast port of Veracruz and represents a health risk for the population, the Reforma newspaper reported Saturday.

In its front-page story, the daily said the material was imported by the Mexalit company, which makes construction materials.

According to the article, the product was stored in Veracruz in October 2012 when Mexalit asked a transport company to keep it at the port because its warehouses were full.

The transport company, which the daily did not identify, apparently did so but filed a complaint this year with the Veracruz state Attorney General’s Office for Mexalit’s failure to pay the storage, according to the article.

Faced with that situation, the transporter dumped the asbestos in the port’s Supply Center loading zone, located on the Veracruz-Xalapa highway, in a populated area, the paper said.

Reforma said the material is being handled with little protection by the Center’s workers and remains outdoors, with its packing deteriorating and with no measures being taken to avoid its fibers drifting into the air.

The newspaper cited a note by the World Health Organization, or WHO, which says that prolonged exposure to asbestos fibers, which do not decompose easily nor can be diluted in water and can remain airborne for a considerable time, can cause grave damage to the respiratory system.

All forms of asbestos are carcinogenic for humans and may cause mesothelioma and cancer of the lungs, larynx and ovaries, the WHO document says
