PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say a Chandler man already accused of branding his initials on a then-girlfriend's genitals now has been arrested on bestiality charges.
Maricopa County Sheriff's officials said Tuesday that 47-year-old Christopher Lynn Jackson is being held on a $30,000 bond.
They say a search of his home Monday by sheriff's investigators uncovered material implicating Jackson and two women in unseemly behavior with a dog.
Jackson was arrested Sept. 3 for aggravated assault in the branding case.
According to court papers, Jackson gave his then-girlfriend what he said were energy pills.
The woman says she then woke up with a pain between her legs and discovered that Jackson allegedly had branded "C'' and "J'' on her genitals.
Investigators say they later found a branding tool and butane torch in Jackson's house. (Copyright 2013 The Associated Press. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed.)
